Eco Film Night Resources
Rachel Loughrey

Thank you to everyone who attended our second Eco Film night on 18th February.

We hope you enjoyed the film, the amazing panel discussions and the inspiring chats afterwards. We would like to extend a big thanks to the Bog Standard team. The night would not have been as magical as it was without Aoife and the wonderful panellists; Ben, Carthage, Phoebe and Colum. So many topics were discussed in the evening. Here are some that were written on the post-its:

  • Community action is paramount to mitigating climate change and to combat eco-anxiety
  • Connection to nature and wildlife is vital
  • Practicality and climate change
  • Breaking out of the echo chamber
  • Energy sources
  • Just transition
  • Re connecting to bogs

Here are some resources about bogs which might interest you after watching the film ‘Bog Standard’:
